FOP President Cuffs Bloomberg

Filed under: Uncategorized — Administrator @ 8:30 pm

Uncle points to an editorial by the President of the FOP that excoriates Bloomberg and the Mayors Against Illegal Guns. Let us make no mistake–their real agenda, as we’ve discussed here before, is NOT to protect cops or conduct investigations.

Their agenda is to harass legitimate FFL dealers out of business, expand the living daylights out of the investigative powers that Mayors have such that private investigators working for them can break the law, supercede and destroy the investigative efforts of the federal body tasked with enforcing gun laws, and finally to target legit gun owners, not “illegal” guns.

Message for Mr. Bloomberg–the BATF (no friend to us wild and crazy libertarian gun owners) is telling you to knock it off, as is the guy who represents rank and file law enforcement.

What the hell else do you need?

  2. This, along w/ the paper from the BATFE and FBI, are always nice to throw in the faces of people who keep repeating the Brady Bunch numbers based on “trace data”. I think I’ll try the reversal and ask them why they oppose the police on this. They must support criminals.

  3. Heh, good call. I’d imagine Kelli over at the Bradyblog is going to go apeshit over that.:)

  4. I’ve posted the “trace data” response near a dozen times already. Shockingly enough, I never get a response from Zach and Kelli tends to ignore it and/or start the insults again.

I am going to add the police thing next time though.

  5. […] Talk about having absolutely no shame whatsoever. As we’ve discussed here before, the FOP and the BATF have both told the Bloomberg machine and the Brady Campaign to Eliminate Gun Ownership that they vehemently oppose the repeal of the Tiarht Amendment. They have specifically told the gun grabbers that their efforts to repeal it will damage investigative efforts directed at dirty FFL dealers (the source of a great majority of crime guns). […]
