Hat tip to Guntard for noticing this; I haven’t heard from Shadan7 or our other DKos friends in a while and would have missed a rather upbeat sign. Seeing as Kos himself is ex-military and very much pro-RKBA, I’m not surprised that gun rights are received more favorably than they are on Washington Monthly or Salon.com or HuffPo (frankly the anti gun bigotry on those sites has pretty much worn me out…it’s almost like going to an Aryan Brotherhood site and trying to convince the prevailing membership that blacks and asians and hispanics are people too).

It’s a beautiful Sunday afternoon so I probably won’t dive into the comments section until later, but the informal poll and the presence of pro-RKBA comments is encouraging. Firearms ownership as a civil right actually has a chance of becoming a bipartisan issue in the next ten years.
