…if it weren’t so sad. I hate to sound crude, but the Brits have so willingly made such capons of themselves. Remember this next time somebody insists that when Rebecca Peters of IANSA says “too bad if you’re a target shooter, you little people can’t have guns, and you should just pick a sport that doesn’t involve a dangerous weapon”, she doesn’t really mean to take all the guns away. Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight. I remember her clearly stating in the debate with Wayne LaPierre that it’s just tough noogies that the Brits can’t target shoot anymore, they have to sacrifice their sport on the altar of the vain, fruitless effort at disarming badguys everywhere.

I guess that’s why baseball never caught on in England. Think of the horror by everyone concerned about the spread of the use of baseball bats by criminals in society if we allow them on the diamond field.
