A mixed bag tonight on whether the NRA’s motivation for not supporting CCW is simply to provide some sort of political respite for our esteemed (but ineffectual) governor. Some folks think it could well be something, others whose opinions I also respect think that Ehrlich can’t expect any real favors from the NRA (and apparently Purtilo’s arrogant, self-aggrandizing self isn’t welcome within spitting distance of the gov…go figure).
I’m not at liberty to divulge much at the moment, but my guess is that I’ll have some more input on this tomorrow or the next day and get to the bottom of what’s really going on. What I do know is that we at MSI haven’t really heard much of anything from Chris Cox of the NRA-ILA about Jenn Palmer’s position on not supporting CCW in MD, and for that matter the NRA hasn’t responded to private requests about why they won’t get behind CCW either.
They’re keeping mum. Why? And for how long?
